设计不是艺术，设计师必须有帮助人们解决问题、改善整个行业，甚至是全世界的决心、恒心和细心。在荷兰丹博思（Den Bosch）火车站，为了让乘客在站台候车或者走动更加舒适、快速和安全，设计师和运营公司就在站点平台顶上安装了一个LED灯条，让乘客们能看到他们所要知道的一切信息，包括列车的繁忙和拥挤程度。3个月试验，乘客好评不断。就是凭着这种周到、细腻和人性化的创意，这个看似不起眼的创意最后也获得了“黄铅笔”。当然，设计师还得满足客户的要求，比如，帮助他们推广品牌。
